At Mendful, we offer visible mending services that repair and extend the life of your favorite garments. Unlike invisible mending, which aims to conceal flaws, visible mending highlights each repair, turning them into distinct badges of care.
Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi—the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold—we see every tear as an opportunity to transform into something bespoke, storied, and resilient.
We choose slow over fast fashion. Care over convenience. We mend rather than discard—because clothing is more than fabric. It holds stories, memories, connection to all the people and resources that made it possible. And that’s worth repairing.

Select
The Mend.
If our services are a match for your garments, select the Mend and choose your patch fabric and add sashiko stitching (optional). If you have a specific item or request, fill out the Custom Inquiry form.

Place Garment
in Paid Mailer.
Clean your garment according to its care instructions. You will receive a paid mailer and mending tape. Use the tape to mark the areas needed for repair, place your garment inside, & drop off the mailer at your local USPS.

Wait for
Package Day.
We will let you know when your garment has been repaired and is on its way to you. Please enjoy your newly mended garment. Think of the visible mend as a badge of sustainability. Wear proudly.
